How to read these figures

The Sankey presents two directly reported views of the same quarterly revenue: product family first, then subscription status. It does not estimate subscription mix by product family. Contracted backlog, customer retention, direct-channel change and profitability are included only as filing-backed annotations.

Labels and narrative explain the filing. A category marked “arithmetic bridge” or “residual” is calculated from reported totals, rather than a separately reported line.

AEC reached $970M, exactly half of revenue, as collections, Revit and cloud-based Forma expanded Autodesk beyond drafting software.
Autodesk had $7.81B of remaining performance obligations, equivalent to four quarters of current revenue; 69% is expected within one year.
Revenue from existing subscribers drove the 19% subscription increase, and constant-currency net retention remained slightly above 110%.
